Mr. Alex Creations
Man v. Wild
Once upon a time, our world first sat as blank as a canvas. Powerful dialectic forces of nature shaped the land and colored the skies, creating the intuitively painted landscapes we see before us. These environments search for balance, allowing one state of creation to quarrel with a state of destruction until a homeostatic composition is synthesized.
As time progresses, different antitheses arise. Some aspects dry too quickly while others in critical mass overflow and overgrow dangerously. A new antithesis to this natural dialogue enters the environment: the survival of the industrialized and intellectualized primate. The values are reflected in the tools and infrastructure that provide them. This is a different force largely affecting the landscape it inhabits. These works aim to explore the interactions within the environment, sometimes cooperatively, sometimes conflicting, but none-the-less searching for balance.
